Be part of the #ICAAMRise Series

ICAAM AGM 2015 presents ‪#‎ICAAMRise‬: Opening Doors, Realising Dreams

Dear members of the Alumni,

Beginning this year, ICAAM aims to shift its center of focus from 3 great years of Nation Building initiatives, hosting prominent figures from across the divide such as the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Dr Mahathir, Dato’ Ambiga Sreenevasan, Azran Osman Rani who was then the CEO of AirAsia X among others, to a more relevant topic shared by both Imperial College London & the Malaysian government over the past 1 year: raising funds for businesses, social initiatives & startups, by organizing efforts to improve practical, entrepreneurial and intellectual skills necessary to realizing our dreams & ambitions.

We begin by launching the first of our #ICAAMRise series entitled “Opening Doors, Realising Dreams” where we will be hosting some of the most prominent individuals in the funding space to help you understand and appreciate the opportunities available for you bright, ambitious and entrepreneurial folks. These individuals run some of the biggest players in the entire eco-system, representing the following organisations:-

  • Creador, a private equity firm specializing in growth capital investments ranging between RM30-50 million
  • Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM), a statutory body created to jump start wealth creation through knowledge, technology & innovation for Malaysia
  • Cradle Fund, a veture capital firm specializing in early stage investments under the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia

On top of that, we also have the co-founder of Teach For Malaysia to share how his dream came true – a testimony that nothing is impossible here in Malaysia with the right support. Do not miss this chance to spend a Saturday morning with the best minds which can help to expand your mind.
